Jade has lived in Liverpool her whole life and her wider family and friends live in the region; this gives her the insight to not only understand what the issues are but why we have them.
Jade's father is a civil Servant and her mum has just recently retired from being a nurse in the NHS after 55 years.
When she was 17, Jade left school after doing business and took part in an advanced modern apprenticeship in electrical electronic engineering and was the only female engineer in the business.
Jade stood for Metro Mayor in 2021, receiving 66,702 votes.
Over the past few years Jade has taken part in various charity events, including abseiling down Liverpool Cathedral in aid of Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
I meet many different types of people from communities around Liverpool City Region and I understand how important their individual identities are to them. Many people feel as though Liverpool City Region removes that identity as the focus is on Liverpool, I want to make sure I give a voice to all in our region, that Liverpool City Region needs a fresh vision, ideas beyond the stale Labour Party.
Jade's five point plan:
- Acting on business feedback to encourage more investment and build trust in the region.
- Facilitating councils to get more houses built and quicker on brownfield sites.
- Removing the mayoral 'precept' on Council Tax bills.
- Ensuring funding and opportunity reach all areas of the city region.
- Holding city region partner providers to account to make sure adult training is the best in the country.
