Vida is one of our three local Conservative councillors in Moreton West & Saughall Massie, working with Gary Bennett and Colin Baldwin.

Vida first became involved in local politics with Chris Blakeley, fighting to save Fender Farm.

First elected in May 2022, Vida was re-elected in May 2023 with 1,908 votes - an increase on the previous year.

  • Former Chair of governors at Sandbrook Primary School, Moreton
  • Former Chairman of the British Insurance Brokers Association for Merseyside, North Wales and Isle of Man.​
  • Council appointee to the Saughall Massie Conservation Area Advisory Committee

Since being elected in 2023, Vida has:

  • Secured the re-opening of Saughall Bridge Post Office
  • Fought Labour's targets for building on our Green Belt
  • Voted to oppose Ed Miliband's carbon pipeline plan 

Vida is now working to:

  • Bring the long-awaited new station to Town Meadow
  • improve facilities at Lingham Park, working with Moreton FC
  • Deliver the promised expansion of Moreton Library
