Marg is a leading member of our Federation and has helped to ensure we are one of the top performing local parties for the recruitment and retention of members.
Marg is a member of our Candidate Approvals Committee and first joined the party in 1986, on her return from living in the States.
Among her successes, Marg was election agent when Ian Lewis became the first-ever Conservative Councillor in Leasowe & Moreton East; when Vida Wilson was elected in Moreton West & Saughall Massie and when the Party INCREASED the Conservative vote a year later, in 2023.
Marg has also raised thousands of pounds for the local campaign with a variety of fundraising events.
In 2023, Marg stood as Conservative candidate in Rock Ferry Ward.
I joined the local Conservatives in 1986 upon my return from living in the States for many years. Living abroad made me really appreciate living in the UK. Nothing has changed.
Outside politics, Marg is a Board Member of Marcelle Erian Cancer Foundation, Los Angeles-a Foundation set up by her late husband, Dr Hany Kalil, an Oncologist.
