We want to make it easier for residents to get around, and safer for all road users as they do. That means things like improving access at local railway stations and investing in bus services.
Labour's Metro Mayor has had the power, since 2017, to improve bus services but is only now talking about it. At the same time, Labour dragged their feet over backing our campaign for lifts at Wallasey Village Station. Instead, their priority is more cycle lanes, regardless of the views of residents or cost to the taxpayer.
Your local Conservatives:
- Are pushing for improved access to stations, such as lifts at Wallasey Village
- Secured the reintroduction of the 107/108 bus route in Wallasey
- Against wasting money on cycle lanes EXCEPT where there is evidence of demand
