LINK, the UK’s Cash Access and ATM network, has today announced that local residents and businesses in Moreton will soon find it easier to access banking services thanks to the addition of a new banking hub in the town.
News that all seven appeals by Leverhulme Estates to build on Wirral's Green Belt have failed has been welcomed by Conservative Councillors in the Wallasey constituency.
New figures have revealed 165 missed bin collections in a dozen roads in Wallasey over the last 12 months.
Data requested by councillors Ian Lewis and Lesley Rennie followed months of complaints from people living between Seaview Road and Rolleston Drive in the town.
Councillors have just received this update following the problems found in some schools built using Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete ('RAAC') mainly between the 1950s and 90s:
"All Wirral schools will open as planned for the start of term next week.
After several years of lobbying, first by Chris Blakeley and more recently by Councillor Vida Wilson, the Town Hall has published proposals to improve safety and access at the junction of Borrowdale Road and Hoylake Road in Moreton.
