Cycle lane

Since we first learned of plans to install segregated cycle lanes in Wallasey, we have worked to keep residents and businesses up to date with the proposals.

At a recent council meeting, councillors Ian Lewis and Lesley Rennie voted against proceeding with the plans, but we were outvoted by the other councillors on that committee.

We have learned that the cost of the scheme (from Seacombe to New Brighton) is now at LEAST £12 million, including:

  • Seaview Road
  • Hose Side Road
  • Warren Drive
  • Grove Road

We are updating our contact list so that when we have details of the next stage, we can let residents know. Register for updates from us:
