Over the last few years, Wirral has received more than £100 million from the Government for regeneration. For too long, local towns have been left behind, by all Governments.
Sadly, Labour Councillors have seen fit to pump most of that cash into Birkenhead, whether it's buying the 'Vue Cinema' or the former House of Fraser store. Communities such as Liscard, New Brighton and Upton are being left behind.
If you are thinking about setting up your own business (and, since 2010, an extra 500 businesses have been set up in this constituency), you can contact the government’s Business Support Helpline for free advice via email enquiries@businesssupporthelpline.org or phone 0800 998 1098
Your local Conservatives:
- Voted for a Local Plan that would push developers into the town centres
- Oppose Labour's plans to extend parking charges
- Have secured a new Banking Hub for Moreton and are working on one for Wallasey Village
