Conservative Councillors don't just turn up at election time, expecting your vote. We know we have to earn it. And, unlike the other parties, we keep in touch all year round and we work hard on local issues in our community.

Since the last council elections in May 2023, Councillors Ian Lewis and Lesley Rennie have reported 1,073 issues for action to the Town Hall.

Since being elected in 2023, we have:

  • Worked to re-open Wallasey Village Library
  • Had more of our green spaces given protection than anywhere else in Wirral
  • Fought Labour's plans for cycle lanes across our community

We are now working to:

  • Secure improvements to Grove Road Station
  • Update the children's play areas at Wallacre and Harrison Park
  • Persuade the Council to install a safer crossing on Bayswater Road

But they can’t do it alone. Your views can help to make a difference to the community.

What's the most important issue in your community?

Whatever needs changing in your neighbourhood, you could help us to deliver it by taking part in the survey below.

At the end of the survey are links to some recent local news stories covering their work.

Wallasey residents' survey

Do you agree with the Town Hall’s plans for more cycle lanes, including Seaview Road, Wallasey Road and Wallasey Village?
From what you have heard so far, do you agree with the Government’s plans for digital ID cards?
Thinking about Wirral as a whole, do you agree with new targets that would see 35,000 new houses built, even if it means building on the Green Belt?

Is there a local issue in your neighbourhood that needs attention?
