A 'review' of the proposals by Peak Cluster has left more questions than answers, says a local councillor.
The 'scoping opinion' was published by the Planning Inspectorate on 19 February. It is the initial assessment of the information they will require before deciding on the plans, possibly in 2027.
The Government has already decided that the application will not be decided by the Council's Planning Committee or local residents. Instead, Secretary of State Ed Miliband and the Planning Inspectorate will decide.
The 400 page report states that Peak Cluster must give more information on almost aspects of the plan, including the 'above ground installation' between Moreton and Meols.
Following widespread criticism of the company's current consultation, they are holding a second consultation, starting in late March and running for four weeks.
