On a bright Spring morning on Wednesday, Moreton Shore was busy with walkers (with and without dogs), runners and visitors to the Green Hut. 

There was also a film crew from ITV Granada.

  • Councillor Vida Wilson gave her view on the plans by Peak Cluster and backed by the Government, and especially Ed Miliband MP: no ifs, no buts. Peak Cluster must be stopped.
  • Val, a resident of Millhouse Lane, Moreton, spoke about her worries for the local environment and wildlife.
  • While Phil, a leading member of the campaign to defend Wirral's Green Belt, blew apart the arguments in favour of the £5 billion plan.
