Fender cycle lanes: another £210,000 wasted

So, having ignored the results of the consultation on the failed Fender cycle lanes, Labour Councillors voted to spend a further £210,000 on it.

This is on top of the £204,000 it cost to install and the £72,000 paid to a consultant to 'review it'.  That review recommended a further £210,000, which Labour agreed to, and with a further consultant report to be commissioned, cost not yet published, to 'support the detailed design' to try and make it work.

What an absolute waste of taxpayers' money.
