Conservative Councillors don't just turn up at election time, expecting your vote. We know we have to earn it.

And, unlike the other parties, we keep in touch all year round and we work hard on local issues in our community.

Your local councillors Colin Baldwin, Gary Bennett and Vida Wilson are already helping residents, businesses and community groups with a range of local issues in Moreton and Saughall Massie.

Since the last council elections in May 2023, Councillors Colin Baldwin, Gary Bennett and Vida Wilson have reported 539 issues for action in Moreton and Saughall Massie.

Since being elected in 2023, we have:

  • Brought banking back to Moreton
  • Secured the re-opening of Saughall Bridge Post Office
  • Fought Labour's targets for building on our Green Belt

We are now working to:

  • Bring the long-awaited new station to Town Meadow
  • improve facilities at Lingham Park, working with Moreton FC
  • Deliver the promised expansion of Moreton Library

What's the most important issue in your community?

Unlike the other parties, we carry out regular postal surveys and door-to-door visits, weather permitting!  We do this so we can help residents tackle issues in their road or neighbourhood and also gain support for some of the bigger projects.

But we can’t do it alone. Your views can help to make a difference to the community.

Thinking about Wirral as a whole, do you agree with new targets that would see 35,000 new houses built, even if it means building on the Green Belt?
From what you have heard so far, do you agree with the Government’s plans for digital ID cards?
Would you like to see the cycle lanes on Fender Lane (between Moreton and ‘Tesco’ at Bidston) removed or kept?

Is there a local issue in your neighbourhood that needs attention?
