Wirral Councillors are set to vote on proposals to introduce a permanent ban on overnight parking by camper vans at Kings Parade, New Brighton.

A Wirral Councillor is backing calls by Historic England for the Borough’s 26 conservation areas to be enhanced.

The Independent Inquiry into Wirral Council's draft Local Plan continues. Today proposals for land use in Upton, Leasowe, Moreton and part of Saughall Massie were considered by the inspectors, Mike Worden and Tom Bristow.

Earlier today, a team of volunteers helped alert 750 residents in Saughall Massie to next week's crunch hearing on the campaign to save the surrounding Green Belt.
