Liscard Ward 5 April 2025

This part of Wallasey is in the Liscard Ward, currently represented by three Labour Councillors.

When one party has so much control, people can sometimes feel they are not being heard or, worse, ignored.

A recent example was the decision by councillors to vote for segregated cycle lanes on Wallasey Road, Torrington Road, Mill Lane and Breck Road. This will have a big impact on the community, not least the loss of on-road parking spaces.  Were you asked for your views? You can read more, including the maps of the agreed routes.

To make sure the results are representative of this community, it doesn’t matter which party you usually vote for or support.

Do you agree with the Government’s decision to remove Winter Fuel Payments from most pensioners?
Were you consulted by your three councillors (or the council) over their plans for new cycle lanes in this part of Wallasey?
Do you support calls for a national inquiry into child sexual exploitation by the so-called ‘grooming gangs’?
