Steve is one of three Conservative Councillors for Moreton and Saughall Massie Ward.  First elected in November 2009 and re-elected in May 2010, Steve is married with two grown up daughters.

All of Steve's 53 years have been spent living in the Ward.  Steve is a retired Police Officer, now running a computer business and is a member of the Wirral Committee of the Federation of Small Businesses.

Locally, Steve is a Governor at Foxfield Special School and is also a member of the management committee that helps to run the Moreton Community Centre in Maryland Lane.  Steve is also a member of the Saughall Massie Conservation Area Committee.

Steve is a strong supporter of charities, community and voluntary groups that help people with addiction problems and substance misuse.  As well as being a member of the management committee of Arch Initiatives, Steve is also chair of local charity 'Parents Against Drug Abuse'.  Since his election, Steve has also been appointed Chair of the Wallasey District Childrens Board.

In the Town Hall, Steve is a member of the Sustainable Communities and Council Excellence committees.
