Lesley Rennie is the Deputy Leader of the Conservative Councillors in Wirral and was first elected in 1991. Lesley is no stranger to Wallasey, having served as a Police Officer in the town. In 2001, Lesley was the Conservative candidate for MP in Wallasey.
Having worked on many of the issues in the Council, Lesley also served as Cabinet Member for the Environment and then Streetscene Services. Lesley is now a member of the Merseyside Fire Authority, where she is Leader of the Conservative Group.
Lesley is a member of many local charities, including Rotary, and is a trustee of the Fire Support Network, a charity that supports activities for young people and older people in Wirral and Merseyside.
