Voting by post?

Since June 2004, controls over postal voting are being tightened up.  The Government was warned that compulsory postal votes at that election would cause problems, and it did!

 

However, postal votes on request remain a safe way to vote.  You have to sign a form to say you want one and, if you send the form to the Conservative Campaign Centre, we will contact you to confirm your details before securely passing the application to the Elections Staff at the Town Hall. 

 

Anyone can apply to vote by post.  It's a really good choice if you are busy, can't leave the house or if you are escaping to sunnier places!
